We spent a week in Port Antonio, Jamaica before taking a weather window to sail South to Panama. Boat-wise we had the goal to fix our mainsail traveler car and install our spinnaker, but didn’t succeed at either. It still meant a week full of boat-work and not much fun, while the kids were enjoying the pool (they basically lived in the pool during a week). Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see a lot of Jamaica, but who knows we might get back there again to discover more. We did take a trip to a nearby abandoned island-resort with our dinghy, which was fun. It was great to see the lush vegetation on that island and make up theories about the resort and why it was abandoned.
