Celebrating a kid’s birthday at home usually needs quite some preparations and thinking. Here in the San Blas, it didn’t take more than a whatsapp-message to the sailors in the anchorage, that we will be celebrating Julia’s birthday in the afternoon and everybody turned up. We had such a fun time and Julia was soooo happy about the event and the nice presents she got. She was the center of attention and was being spoiled by everyone. We ordered pizza for everyone at Ibin’s restaurant, played a bit of volleyball and enjoyed a freshly prepared coconut-cake as dessert. As easy as that, peaceful and relaxed for everyone involved and definitely a very special birthday to remember.
